Cerney, Ann L.

Ann Cerney, MS LCPC.  Ann maintains an office in both Lisle and Hinsdale where she provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families, and also works as a 'divorce coach' on interdisciplinary teams for collaborative divorce cases.  Ann has been practicing for over 10 years, after completing her master’s in clinical psychology from Benedictine University.  In 2006 Ann was trained in collaborative practice for divorce.  In 2008, Ann became a fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois (CLII), and served as co-chair of the Excellence and Best Practice committee of CLII from  2009- 2011.  She is also a member of IACP, (International Association of Collaborative Professionals), L.E.A.V.E.S., (Legal, Emotional, and Various Economic Services), a not-for-profit professional organization that provides education to the public about divorce, and CPPIL,( Collaborative Practice Professionals of Illinois), since its inception in 2010.

In 2010, Ann joined with several other collaborative professionals to form TACP, Trainers for the Advancement of Collaborative Practice.  Ann is committed to providing quality basic training to other professionals who are interested in collaborative practice.

This year, Ann authored an electronic book titled "Divorce: What are my options?" available at Amazon.com.  The book is intended as a guide for individuals who are contemplating divorce.
